How to Draw A Cartoon Tooth. Our teeth are very important, and caring for them is just as important. They help us chew our food and give us brighter smiles, but if we don’t care for them, they can torment us!
Also, check our cute cat coloring pages.
That’s why it’s important to ensure they’re cleaned frequently so that visits to the dreaded dentist are less frequent.
They can also be fun, and learning to draw a cartoon tooth can be a great experience!
That’s exactly what we’re going to do in this guide in front of you!
How to Draw A Cartoon Tooth
Step 1
Teeth have a very special shape when seen from outside the gums! They have rounded tips that help grind food, with some pointed parts at the base that goes into the gums.
We will describe this shape in this guide to drawing a cartoon tooth, but it will be a slightly stylized approach to this shape.
As you can see in our example image, we use a lot of curved and rounded lines to draw this outline of the tooth, which also goes for the two pointed parts.
We leave a small gap on the right side since an arm will come here later.
Step 2
We mentioned some arms in the previous step of this cartoon tooth design, and we will add them.
It’s good that real teeth don’t have any, but they make the whole thing much more fun!
The arm on the right has curved lines for the arm itself.
Next, we’ll use curved lines for the thumb that extends up and then some small oval shapes for the curved fingers.
The left arm looks similar but is longer than the right one. At the base of the stamp, there is also a small space left for an item we will add later.
Step 3
That tooth would be part of a bright smile, and he has one on his face! This is what we will draw in this next step of the guide.
First, draw a large curved horizontal line for the top of the smiling mouth. This will then have a smaller curved line at each corner.
Use another curved line going down from the right corner of this line for the bottom of the mouth.
Once these aspects are drawn, let’s add some teeth and a tongue to the mouth.
Both can be drawn with simple rounded lines, as shown in the reference image. Then it’s time for step 4!
Step 4
For this fourth step of our tutorial on drawing a cartoon tooth, we will add the rest of the smiley face. That means adding the eyes and other facial features, and we’ll start with the eyes.
These can be drawn with oval shapes with small curved lines at the base.
Next, we’ll add another smaller oval inside each one, with an even smaller black oval inside each smaller one.
Next, let’s round off her facial expression with some eyebrows. These are rounded at the inside corners and then have pointed tips at the outside corners.
We’re then ready to refine this cartoon tooth in step five of the guide!
Step 5
Let’s add a toothbrush to this composition to remind you of proper dental care!

He will be holding a large toothbrush in his left hand, and it will fill the space you left in his fist.
The toothbrush has a rather simple design as it is drawn with few straight and slightly curved lines.
Then you can add the bristle section at the end, which takes on a roughly rectangular shape with lots of line detail on the sides.
Then your drawing is ready! Before proceeding to the last step, you can add some additional details.
You could draw a background or add some pictures of teeth-related objects to the background.
Step 6
This final step is completing this cute cartoon teeth design with some colors!

For the tooth itself, you’ll see that we used different shades of light grey and white for the “body” of the tooth.
The eyes are a soft blue, and then we added a nice pop of color to the toothbrush by using red for the handle.
We chose these colors, but feel free to choose other options you might like! This is your design, and it must match your taste perfectly.
